Matthew 28: 19-20
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Our Mission at The First Baptist Church is to align with, lead and coordinate the local, regional, and global mission of the church community. We provide practical help in the form of food, clothing, money, and other identified needs, both within the congregation and beyond it. We seeks to improve the well-being of people in order to continue making a difference, as inspired by the life of Jesus Christ. We not only preach the Gospel to people, but also have programs that to help our neighbors and friends. Below are some of these programs.
Each Monday Evening in the Garrett Chapel, we meet at 7:00 PM for prayer and to pray for others. If you would like to request a prayer, you can fill out this form. It will be completely anonymous.
