Meet Billy Caudle — Organist and Choir Director
Billy has been the Choir Director and Organist at the First Baptist Church for over 10 years. His musical back ground started when he started singing in church from a very early age and took piano lessons starting in the second grade. Billy also studied organ for several years. His education is in management, but while in college, he was involved with the music department at the University of North Carolina – Greensboro. During his career, he has served as organist/choir master at several churches before moving to Elizabeth City. He plays for First United Methodist at their contemporary service. In addition, he serves as the musical director for the Center Players – a children’s musical theatre program at Arts of the Albemarle.
Billy is also the director of the annual Moravian Lovefeast. The community event occurs the first Thursday in December. Click here for more information on the Moravian Lovefeast.
In Billy’s spare time, he likes to travel. Especially on his boat.
